the virtual mind spa is a place for students to relax, rest and recharge no matter where they're located.
mindfulness is when you purposely bring your attention to experiences occurring in the present moment without any sense of judgment. practicing mindfulness can help increase our ability to regulate emotions, decrease stress, anxiety, and depression. it also helps to look inward to our thoughts and feelings.
emotional wellbeing is when we are in control of our thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. having a strong sense of emotional wellbeing allows us to cope with life's challenges and hurdles in a healthy and positive way.
taking care of our physical health is just as important as our emotional health. while we may be practicing staying at home, that doesn't mean we can't do things to take care of ourselves physically.
